After a rather tough play, Rossangeles's Marco Anaya got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 3rd minute of the match Alberto Chioda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Biagio Firmani showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. AC Morena's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rossangeles the free kick. The audience was convinced that Sylwester Hajder's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Biagio Firmani was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. 14 minutes into the match, Alberigo Di Placido notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of AC Morena's Biagio Polo. Biagio Polo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Rossangeles booed when AC Morena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Attilio Liaci didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute of the match Federico Rossetti sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Biagio Polo skillfully saved the ball. In the 20th minute AC Morena were awarded a corner. Corrado Giacchetti went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 22nd minute Alberigo Di Placido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Polo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylwester Hajder in the 24th minute of play forced Rossangeles's goalkeeper Biagio Firmani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, AC Morena's Sylwester Hajder dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Biagio Polo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Anaya in the 32nd minute of the match. Biagio Firmani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sylwester Hajder, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Rossangeles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1.
Joaquin Ponte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Biagio Polo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Anaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sylwester Hajder in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Biagio Firmani saved Rossangeles from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Sylwester Hajder put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Biagio Firmani. After 68 played minutes AC Morena got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Chioda. When Sylwester Hajder came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the AC Morena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sylwester Hajder couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amedeo Gizzi during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Amedeo Gizzi hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Biagio Firmani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. In the 95th minute Sylwester Hajder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Firmani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AC Morena fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rossangeles had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
