Biagio Firmani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 12th minute Bianco De Lellis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Firmani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ermanno Sabatini hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Anaya got free with Fedele Gentili in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francesco Locatelli in the 24th minute of play forced Rossangeles's goalkeeper Biagio Firmani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bianco De Lellis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Biagio Firmani having to make a save. Emilio Donato kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Edmondo Ranalli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Biagio Firmani was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Biagio Eleuteri kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmondo Ranalli in the 43rd minute of play forced Rossangeles's goalkeeper Biagio Firmani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fedele Gentili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Anaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Biagio Firmani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francesco Locatelli in the 51st minute. The audience was convinced that Francesco Locatelli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Biagio Firmani was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Duri come il marmo's Dennis Lucidi got a free kick in the 65th minute. Duri come il marmo's Fulvio Di Crescenzo was substituted for Edmondo Ranalli. In the 66th minute, Dennis Lucidi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th match minute, Rossangeles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Anaya to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute, Alvise Vida had to leave the field with a concussion. When Emanuele Penna fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Duri come il marmo's protests and gave Emanuele Penna a yellow card for diving instead. 75 minutes into the match, Duri come il marmo's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Anaya came free, but Fedele Gentili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th match minute, Duri come il marmo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Lucidi to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Duri come il marmo's Cristoforo Di Cicco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Biagio Firmani. That made the score 0-4 after 91 minutes of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Duri come il marmo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
