In the 7th minute, Thymios Georgakoglou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duri come il marmo's Edmondo Ranalli got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmondo Ranalli in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paris Dimakoglou saved ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ from getting behind. Paris Dimakoglou was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Francesco Locatelli showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. After 14 minutes of play, Duri come il marmo's Bianco De Lellis made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paris Dimakoglou was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Thymios Georgakoglou hit a great ball. Evaggelos Vasilakopoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evaggelos Vasilakopoulos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 22 minutes into the match, ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's goal looked a bit too open when Edmondo Ranalli came free, but Paris Dimakoglou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vrasidas Manousakis took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fedele Gentili. Fedele Gentili dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 30 minutes into the match, Vrasidas Manousakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fedele Gentili. Duri come il marmo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vrasidas Manousakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. If Vrasidas Manousakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evaggelos Vasilakopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Evaggelos Vasilakopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaggelos Vasilakopoulos couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute, Vrasidas Manousakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fedele Gentili was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. After a rather tough play, Duri come il marmo's Dennis Lucidi got a free kick in the 46th minute. After the first half ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vrasidas Manousakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fedele Gentili was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vrasidas Manousakis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 52 minute of play. Francesco Locatelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute Edmondo Ranalli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paris Dimakoglou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paris Dimakoglou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francesco Locatelli in the 58th minute of the match. Paris Dimakoglou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francesco Locatelli in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Thymios Georgakoglou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristoforo Di Cicco charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristoforo Di Cicco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ booed when Duri come il marmo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristoforo Di Cicco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Duri come il marmo's Fulvio Di Crescenzo was substituted for Edmondo Ranalli. 73 minutes into the match, Vrasidas Manousakis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fedele Gentili, 2-6. 76 minutes into the game, ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Evaggelos Vasilakopoulos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fedele Gentili made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-7. Duri come il marmo's Fedele Gentili proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Duri come il marmo from getting a goal against them. With 84 minutes on the clock, Stamatis Charalambidis commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! Paris Dimakoglou had in the 85thth minute some difficulties stopping Alvaro Toto's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francesco Locatelli in the 90th minute of play forced ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's goalkeeper Paris Dimakoglou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 minutes, Thymios Georgakoglou mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ and the Duri come il marmo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Thymios Georgakoglou got a free kick in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulvio Di Crescenzo in the 93rd minute of play forced ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's goalkeeper Paris Dimakoglou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fedele Gentili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panagiotis Nikolakoglou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
