Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Stratos Savouras kicked off to start the match. Manos Papaiakovou came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Bazellatin F.C.'s Thodoris Diamantidis. But to his dismay, Thodoris Diamantidis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Manos Voutsas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panagiotis Bourousis, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Stratos Savouras left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bazellatin F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Manos Papaiakovou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stratos Savouras in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Thymios Kominidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manos Voutsas made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Panagiotis Bourousis sent off a good shot on target. Manos Papaiakovou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stratos Savouras in the 24th minute of play. When Nikos Moustos came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Go Ahead Eagles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nikos Moustos couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes into the game, Nikos Moustos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Manos Voutsas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 32 minutes into the match, Go Ahead Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Stratos Savouras came free, but Manos Papaiakovou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panagiotis Beloukas kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After 39 minutes of play, Bazellatin F.C.'s Stratos Savouras made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manos Papaiakovou was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thodoris Diamantidis during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thodoris Diamantidis kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charalambos Anastasakos in the 47th minute of play forced Go Ahead Eagles's goalkeeper Manos Papaiakovou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Panagiotis Bourousis to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Nikos Moustos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Go Ahead Eagles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nikos Moustos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th match minute, Bazellatin F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stratos Savouras to maneuver through the defense. Manos Papaiakovou came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Bazellatin F.C.'s Stratos Savouras. But to his dismay, Stratos Savouras quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Manos Papaiakovou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thymios Kominidis in the 60th minute. Manos Papaiakovou was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Stratos Savouras capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Stratos Savouras really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. After 64 minutes, Stratos Agathiadis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bazellatin F.C. and the Go Ahead Eagles players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Bazellatin F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stratos Agathiadis to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the match, Go Ahead Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Stratos Savouras came free, but Manos Papaiakovou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Stratos Savouras had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manos Papaiakovou. Go Ahead Eagles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stratos Savouras was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. If Stratos Savouras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Manos Papaiakovou successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 78th minute, Bazellatin F.C.'s Thodoris Diamantidis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7. Bazellatin F.C.'s Manos Voutsas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Moustos in the 81st minute of play. Manos Papaiakovou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stratos Savouras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Go Ahead Eagles's goalkeeper Manos Papaiakovou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thymios Kominidis. Go Ahead Eagles's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Charalambos Anastasakos scored to the left of an out of position Manos Papaiakovou, making the score, 1-8. Manos Papaiakovou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stratos Savouras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Bazellatin F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Go Ahead Eagles.
