Spectators: 158 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Claudio Nicolai took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fabiano Tatangelo hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Angelo Fanfarone hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Alberigo Biavati took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beppe Rivera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberigo Biavati showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Tatangelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Alberigo Biavati came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Gladiator FC's Fabiano Tatangelo. But to his dismay, Fabiano Tatangelo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beppe Rivera in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alberigo Biavati prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maci FC's Alberigo Biavati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beppe Rivera in the 15th minute of play. After having played for 19 minutes, Fabiano Tatangelo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gladiator FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabiano Tatangelo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute, Angelo Marchegiani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gladiator FC's attack was well implemented in the 27th minute, but when Fabiano Tatangelo was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. In the 30th minute, Beppe Rivera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gladiator FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After 36 minutes, Corrado Carosella mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maci FC and the Gladiator FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 35 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Maci FC! Alberigo Biavati had in the 36thth minute some difficulties stopping Fabiano Tatangelo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Fabiano Tatangelo notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Maci FC's Alberigo Biavati. Alberigo Biavati was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Beppe Rivera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gladiator FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Beppe Rivera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberigo Biavati breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 44 played minutes Maci FC got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Nicolai. In the 45th minute, Angelo Fanfarone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 0-5 became the score in the 47th minute when Beppe Rivera elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The Maci FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gladiator FC were winning 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Beppe Rivera made a kick off. In the 54th minute of the match, Bianco Carozza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alberigo Biavati saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Beppe Rivera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberigo Biavati having to interfere. Maci FC's Alberigo Biavati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beppe Rivera in the 62nd minute of play. Fabiano Tatangelo charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabiano Tatangelo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Gladiator FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Fabiano Tatangelo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beppe Rivera in the 68th minute of play forced Maci FC's goalkeeper Alberigo Biavati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gladiator FC's Beppe Rivera in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maci FC's goalie prevented a goal. Beppe Rivera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberigo Biavati showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beppe Rivera in the 83rd minute of the match. Beppe Riveras short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Alberigo Biavati to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Maci FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Corrado Carosella hit a great ball. Bianco Landolfi hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Beppe Rivera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gladiator FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
