Dominique Virapin's late challenge caught a RO Army V55's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dominique Virapin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of RO Army V55 booed when La Pointe Courte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominique Virapin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute, Gerasimos Patsionidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ermis Kontominas kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as La Pointe Courte's Yann Scott slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thodoris Tabakis. That made the score 1-0 after 18 minutes of play. In the 22nd minute, Yann Scott left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Pointe Courte fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a rather tough play, RO Army V55's Giannis Manolios got a free kick in the 25th minute. Thodoris Tabakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Holmes in the 26th minute of the match. La Pointe Courte's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wilfried Mahé in the 27th minute. La Pointe Courte's Dominique Virapin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thodoris Tabakis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thodoris Tabakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominique Virapin, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sokratis Symeonakis in the 32nd minute of play forced La Pointe Courte's goalkeeper Sabri Fouquet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Holmes in the 36th minute of play forced RO Army V55's goalkeeper Thodoris Tabakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Thibaut Mazieres dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Thodoris Tabakis, 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Thodoris Tabakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Holmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fanis Kapernekas kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Yann Scott shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thodoris Tabakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of RO Army V55 booed when La Pointe Courte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yann Segond didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Pointe Courte's Patxi Seux was substituted for Tim Quantin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathys Guigon in the 88th minute of play forced RO Army V55's goalkeeper Thodoris Tabakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 minutes of play, La Pointe Courte's John Holmes made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thodoris Tabakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the La Pointe Courte players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
