Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Beppe Rivera took the kick off in the first half of the match. Beppe Rivera succeeded in the game's 3rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Gladiator FC's Beppe Rivera was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 14th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Amedeo Orlandi fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gladiator FC's protests and gave Amedeo Orlandi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, Gladiator FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amedeo Orlandi to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, Fabiano Tatangelo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Žydrūnas Danielius. FC Saubrigues's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabiano Tatangelo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Beppe Rivera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Žydrūnas Danielius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Jules Cointe hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Beppe Rivera who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Žydrūnas Danielius when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Žydrūnas Danielius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Beppe Rivera went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Aurelio Epifani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francis Ponchel, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. FC Saubrigues's Žydrūnas Danielius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beppe Rivera in the 36th minute of play. Ferruccio Rinaldi struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Žydrūnas Danielius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gladiator FC. After a rather tough play, FC Saubrigues's Jules Cointe got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 43rd minute, Fabiano Tatangelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beppe Rivera scored 6-0 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Žydrūnas Danielius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gladiator FC's Enzo Guaita was substituted for Dave Gambini. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francis Ponchel to strike the kick off in the second half. Bianco Carozza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Žydrūnas Danielius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Marchegiani kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Gladiator FC's goalkeeper Aurelio Epifani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrien Cariou. 63 minutes into the game, Gladiator FC's Bianco Carozza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Žydrūnas Danielius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. In the 67th minute Eraldo Taglieri suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Morgan Guignard was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Gladiator FC booed when FC Saubrigues was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Morgan Guignard didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Gladiator FC's Bianco Carozza tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gladiator FC's Angelo Marchegiani got his second yellow card of the match in the 77th minute. The referee ordered Angelo Marchegiani off the ground. Angelo Marchegiani hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Žydrūnas Danielius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano Tatangelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the game, Jules Cointe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Saubrigues's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gladiator FC the free kick. After 91 played minutes FC Saubrigues got a freekick which was hit by Jules Cointe. After having played for 95 minutes, Ernesto Furino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gladiator FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Furino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
