Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stratos Savouras started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Thymios Kominidis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Panagiotis Kastanis. ERGOTELIS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thymios Kominidis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Thodoris Diamantidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute, Thalis Sapakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bazellatin F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. With a little luck, Bazellatin F.C.'s Manos Voutsas got control of the ball when Christos Dimitriadis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thymios Kominidis in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Panagiotis Kastanis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 19 minutes, Thodoris Diamantidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bazellatin F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Thodoris Diamantidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 23 minutes into the game, Bazellatin F.C.'s Thalis Sapakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Panagiotis Kastanis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. ERGOTELIS's Panagiotis Kastanis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stratos Savouras in the 26th minute of play. If Thodoris Diamantidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bazellatin F.C.'s Manos Voutsas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Bazellatin F.C. from getting a goal against them. Nikos Kontosoros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dimitris Krasakis struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Manos Voutsas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ERGOTELIS. In the 42nd minute, Nikos Kontosoros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Panagiotis Kastanis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stratos Savouras, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The ERGOTELIS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bazellatin F.C. were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vaggelis Tsigounakis made a kick off. If Thymios Kominidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Thymios Kominidis came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Bazellatin F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thymios Kominidis couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute, Stathis Rasoulis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manos Voutsas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thymios Vourousis in the 59th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Stratos Savouras recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Panagiotis Kastanis. Stratos Savouras showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Panagiotis Kastanis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thymios Kominidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute Vaggelis Tsigounakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manos Voutsas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Charalambos Anastasakos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Panagiotis Kastanis was a little too slow when Stratos Savouras got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 0-5. Stratos Savouras's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Panagiotis Kastanis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute of the match Bazellatin F.C. got a corner. ERGOTELIS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lambis Tournas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of ERGOTELIS's goalie and right to Thymios Kominidis. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ERGOTELIS's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 84th minute, Giannis Dimakoglou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Lambis Tournas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Bazellatin F.C.'s Stratos Savouras slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Panagiotis Kastanis. That made the score 0-7 after 90 minutes of play. Bazellatin F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
