Achille Aloisi in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Manos Papaiakovou, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of LEBEG Team booed when Go Ahead Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apostolos Antoniou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ntinos Vounatsos hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Alberto Cavanna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Manos Papaiakovou made a huge save. In the 9th minute Armin Oberrauch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manos Papaiakovou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manos Papaiakovou made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Achille Di Cesare sent off a good shot on target. In the 12th play minute Armin Borgatello came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Manos Papaiakovou. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Armin Oberrauch managed to get in a good position for a shot. LEBEG Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Armin Oberrauch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manos Papaiakovou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the match, Go Ahead Eagles's goalkeeper Manos Papaiakovou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Cavanna. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Manos Papaiakovou successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Manos Papaiakovou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthony Tonon, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Go Ahead Eagles's Manos Papaiakovou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthony Tonon in the 31st minute of play. 31 minutes in the game, Anthony Tonon dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Achille Aloisi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Manos Papaiakovou came out and tried to block the shot, but Achille Aloisi slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 35th minute. After some careless play in the Go Ahead Eagles defense, Armin Oberrauch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manos Papaiakovou. The Go Ahead Eagles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manos Papaiakovou should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Go Ahead Eagles booed when LEBEG Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Di Giacomo didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Panagiotis Bourousis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Manos Papaiakovou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Achille Aloisi in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Tonon in the 61st minute of play forced Go Ahead Eagles's goalkeeper Manos Papaiakovou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giotis Kouloucheris hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armin Oberrauch in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manos Papaiakovou saved Go Ahead Eagles from getting behind. After some careless play in the Go Ahead Eagles defense, Armin Oberrauch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manos Papaiakovou. The Go Ahead Eagles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manos Papaiakovou should have stopped the shot. 84 minutes into the game, LEBEG Team's Armin Oberrauch nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manos Papaiakovou made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Achille Di Cesare charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Achille Di Cesare the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to LEBEG Team getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Achille Di Cesare hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amedeo Di Vincenzo in the 90th minute of play forced Go Ahead Eagles's goalkeeper Manos Papaiakovou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Achille Aloisi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LEBEG Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Achille Di Cesare took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manos Papaiakovou. Manos Papaiakovou dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. LEBEG Team had played much better football throughout.
