AC Milan's Panos Kamarinakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bianco Carozza in the 14th minute of play. Panos Kamarinakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Tatangelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute Fabiano Tatangelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panos Kamarinakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Gladiator FC's zone, Paris Kafropoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Epifani came out of the goal and Paris Kafropoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Aris Kortzidis made the kick off in the second half. Aurelio Epifani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aris Kortzidis in the 53rd minute of play. Aurelio Epifani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aris Kortzidis's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. The supporters of AC Milan booed when Gladiator FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Tatangelo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
