Fabiano Rossi's late challenge caught a LEBEG Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabiano Rossi helped the player get up and apologised. Anthony Tonon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Anthony Tonon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute Anthony Tonon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Epifani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LEBEG Team's Arrigo Talone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Tatangelo in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Gladiator FC booed when LEBEG Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Caniglia didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Gladiator FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Bianco Carozza hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, LEBEG Team's Achille Aloisi got a free kick in the 32nd minute. LEBEG Team were furious when Fulvio Colagrossi was red carded, 37 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The audience thought a goal was coming when Achille Di Cesare got free with Aurelio Epifani in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd minute of the match, Achille Aloisi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aurelio Epifani saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 46 played minutes LEBEG Team got a freekick which was hit by Achille Aloisi. After the first half Gladiator FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Gladiator FC made a substitution. Enzo Guaita replaced Dave Gambini. The wind increased when Achille Di Cesare made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, LEBEG Team's goal looked a bit too open when Beppe Rivera came free, but Arrigo Talone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arrigo Talone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beppe Rivera in the 56th minute of the match. Aurelio Epifani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Achille Di Cesare in the 70th minute of the match. When Bianco Carozza fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gladiator FC's protests and gave Bianco Carozza a yellow card for diving instead. Bianco Carozza hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The LEBEG Team supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gladiator FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Gladiator FC.
