Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Alexandrie CF's Tim Amalric started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Batiste Lassalle kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After having played for 9 minutes, Thierry Fouet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ground Control's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thierry Fouet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute, Théodore Coulange got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Josselin Portet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Amalric in the 18th minute of play. Renaud Berthier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thierry Fouet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ground Control's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. John-Paul Atlan was slow to take the kick. During this time Alexandrie CF's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in John-Paul Atlan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ground Control's Josselin Portet did a great save. Josselin Portet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Amalric, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Josselin Portet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitri Goudard in the 29th minute of play. Thierry Fouet who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Renaud Berthier when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Yann Delacour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Josselin Portet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alphonse Mathevet kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Alexandrie CF's John-Paul Atlan got a free kick in the 35th minute. The supporters of Alexandrie CF booed when Ground Control was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alphonse Mathevet didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Alexandrie CF's zone, Thierry Fouet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renaud Berthier came out of the goal and Thierry Fouet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alexandrie CF's Renaud Berthier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Alexandrie CF from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

A collision led to Alexandrie CF getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Christian Gély hit a great ball. Alexandrie CF made a substitution. Franklin Cavalie replaced Arnold Campet. Christian Gély kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Batiste Lassalle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renaud Berthier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Alexandrie CF's zone, Thierry Fouet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renaud Berthier came out of the goal and Thierry Fouet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Josselin Portet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tim Amalric, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Alexandrie CF's Rodrigo Mora slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Josselin Portet. That made the score 0-1 after 66 minutes of play. Tim Amalric recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thierry Fouet in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Renaud Berthier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 81st match minute, Ground Control was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thierry Fouet to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Ground Control's Thierry Fouet got a free kick in the 84th minute. Tim Amalric recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexandrie CF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
