After a rather tough play, corsaire nantais's Youri Maurette got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute of the match, Veronica Ciccone got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hubert Donnet was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 12th match minute, corsaire nantais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Youri Maurette to maneuver through the defense. Hubert Donnet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camillo Travaglini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Veronica Ciccone did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Hubert Donnet 20 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, corsaire nantais's goal looked a bit too open when Filippo Del Vecchio came free, but Hubert Donnet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romuald Combret sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. corsaire nantais's Hubert Donnet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save corsaire nantais from getting a goal against them. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romuald Combret to make the kick off. If Bacary Pincon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. One of corsaire nantais:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Schuster:s goal. 61 minutes into the match, Schuster's goalkeeper Ercole Grande had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romuald Combret. corsaire nantais's Hubert Donnet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Veronica Ciccone in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Damiano Cieri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Schuster's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave corsaire nantais the free kick. In the 65th match minute, Schuster was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damiano Cieri to maneuver through the defense. Veronica Ciccone took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hubert Donnet. Hubert Donnet was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Schuster booed when corsaire nantais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Youri Maurette didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute Veronica Ciccone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Donnet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anthony Alberico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 98th minute, Romuald Combret made a precise shot to the right of Ercole Grande. Schuster's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Schuster fully deserved thier win.
