When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

AC Civetta Notturna made a substitution. Aldo Ruscitti replaced Felice Domina. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernardo Carbonaro was the one to do the kick off. AC Civetta Notturna's Mark Evans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save AC Civetta Notturna from getting a goal against them. Mark Evans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Urpani in the 54th minute of play. AC Civetta Notturna's Demetrio Colelli was substituted for Cristiano Baresi. Austin Gatt charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Austin Gatt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aldo Ruscitti in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ian Manchè prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, AC Civetta Notturna's Baba Paaby got a free kick in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the match, AC Civetta Notturna's goal looked a bit too open when Gregory Boffa came free, but Mark Evans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonio Laudi kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Bernardo Carbonaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Manchè having to interfere.
