Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Cacciola's Daniele Arioli started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gregory Boffa took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emiliano Troilo. Emiliano Troilo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 11 minutes, Daniele Arioli made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Floriana Celtics's Ian Manchè tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alvaro Contestabile hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Cacciola's Dennis Mannucci got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Carlo Del Giudice hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the game, Floriana Celtics's Austin Gatt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emiliano Troilo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Emiliano Troilo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Emiliano Troilo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francesco Naudi in the 36th minute of play. A collision led to Cacciola getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Daniele Arioli hit a great ball. Cacciola's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Brian Urpani scored to the left of an out of position Emiliano Troilo, making the score, 4-1. After 43 played minutes Cacciola got a freekick which was hit by Daniele Arioli. Austin Gatt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Troilo having to interfere. After 47 played minutes Floriana Celtics got a freekick which was hit by Gregory Boffa. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brian Urpani to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Gregory Boffa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emiliano Troilo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Brian Urpani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Gregory Boffa made a precise shot to the right of Emiliano Troilo. Cacciola's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. In the 63rd minute of the match, Dennis Mannucci got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ian Manchè was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Daniele Arioli's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Ian Manchè skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 72nd minute, Austin Gatt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Floriana Celtics fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. Gregory Boffa struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Emiliano Troilo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Floriana Celtics. The audience was convinced that Daniele Arioli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ian Manchè was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniele Arioli got free with Ian Manchè in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Daniele Arioli put it in 8-3 from a short distance just to the right of Ian Manchè.
