After 3 played minutes corsaire nantais got a freekick which was hit by Dilan Aubrun. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romuald Combret in the 5th minute of play forced Fiume Veneto's goalkeeper Anfilogino Mastrangelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anfilogino Mastrangelo came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by corsaire nantais's Dilan Aubrun. But to his dismay, Dilan Aubrun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelio Di Giuseppe during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aurelio Di Giuseppe kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Fiume Veneto's zone, Bacary Pincon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anfilogino Mastrangelo came out of the goal and Bacary Pincon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 25 minutes, Romuald Combret made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Fiume Veneto's Anfilogino Mastrangelo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Anfilogino Mastrangelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romuald Combret in the 32nd minute of play. Bacary Pincon succeeded in the game's 35th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. Anfilogino Mastrangelo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romuald Combret went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 47th minute, Romuald Combret ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anfilogino Mastrangelo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardo Spano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anfilogino Mastrangelo was a little too slow when Romuald Combret got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-7. Romuald Combret might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anfilogino Mastrangelo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romuald Combret ran back to his position shaking his head. 59 minutes into the match, Fiume Veneto's goalkeeper Anfilogino Mastrangelo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dilan Aubrun. Dilan Aubrun scored 0-8 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anfilogino Mastrangelo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 63 minutes into the match, Fiume Veneto's goal looked a bit too open when Romuald Combret came free, but Anfilogino Mastrangelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anfilogino Mastrangelo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dilan Aubrun in the 74th minute. In the 81st minute, corsaire nantais's Bacary Pincon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anfilogino Mastrangelo. Anfilogino Mastrangelo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romuald Combret in the 85th minute of play forced Fiume Veneto's goalkeeper Anfilogino Mastrangelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Fiume Veneto's Anfilogino Mastrangelo got control of the ball when Romuald Combret tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bacary Pincon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anfilogino Mastrangelo having to interfere. Romuald Combret could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Anfilogino Mastrangelo made a huge save. Nelson Maussion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Anfilogino Mastrangelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded corsaire nantais left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fiume Veneto.
