Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Camillo Travaglini got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Schuster booed when Merceron United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlo Mandelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camillo Travaglini in the 7th minute of play forced Merceron United's goalkeeper Alberto Giorda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Carlo Mandelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Merceron United getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Anthony Ruzzi hit a great ball. After 15 played minutes, Schuster's Cristoforo Andreola shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alberto Giorda came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Schuster reached it. Emilio Conti succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 17th playminute. After a rather tough play, Schuster's Emanuele Orlandi got a free kick in the 25th minute. Filippo Di Girolamo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Carlo Mandelli. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Pizzi in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filippo Di Girolamo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filippo Di Girolamo was a little too slow when Emilio Conti got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 3-0. Emilio Conti received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Filippo Di Girolamo came out and tried to block the shot, but Emilio Conti slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 38th minute. In the 41st minute, Anthony Ruzzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filippo Di Girolamo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Mandelli in the 43rd minute of the match. The supporters of Merceron United booed when Schuster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmondo Stella didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlo Mandelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Filippo Di Girolamo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 53 minutes of play, Merceron United's Emilio Conti made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filippo Di Girolamo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlo Mandelli kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Camillo Travaglini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Giorda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Giorda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camillo Travaglini in the 62nd minute of play. Schuster's Cristoforo Andreola got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Merceron United's Alberto Giorda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camillo Travaglini in the 65th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Arrigo Di Crescenzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th minute, Edmondo Stella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Filippo Del Vecchio fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Schuster's protests and gave Filippo Del Vecchio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th match minute, Schuster was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filippo Del Vecchio to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the match, Ercole Grande dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alberto Giorda, 5-1. Filippo Di Girolamo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emilio Conti went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. In the 91st match minute, Merceron United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Ruzzi to maneuver through the defense. Schuster's Cristoforo Andreola shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 92nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Alberto Giorda but with some difficulty. Arrigo Di Crescenzo might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filippo Di Girolamo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arrigo Di Crescenzo ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Merceron United fans cheered their team off the field, for while Schuster had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
