After 5 played minutes Cesate got a freekick which was hit by Alex Damiani. In the 9thth minute of the game Ennio Grasso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Marios Kamarinopoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 12th minute Demetrio Borrelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marios Kamarinopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chrisostomos Bourdas in the 13th minute of play forced Cesate's goalkeeper Fortunato Proia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute Chrisostomos Bourdas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Proia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Demetrio Borrelli struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Marios Kamarinopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cesate. In the 20th minute, Chrisostomos Bourdas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, tHe SOnS of rAGnar's goal looked a bit too open when Demetrio Borrelli came free, but Marios Kamarinopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24thth minute of the game Demetrio Borrelli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Marios Kamarinopoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Demetrio Borrelli in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marios Kamarinopoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Demetrio Borrelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31st minute, Demetrio Borrelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ennio Grasso fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cesate's protests and gave Ennio Grasso a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cesate getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Ennio Grasso hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the game, Akis Romanidis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Fortunato Proia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 42 minutes into the match, Cesate's goalkeeper Fortunato Proia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Theofilos Zaninos. Fortunato Proia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chrisostomos Bourdas in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Demetrio Borrelli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Akis Romanidis kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. The supporters of tHe SOnS of rAGnar booed when Cesate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eraldo Di Matteo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute Theofilos Zaninos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Proia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fortunato Proia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chrisostomos Bourdas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 played minutes Cesate got a freekick which was hit by Franco De Marco. After 62 minutes, Eraldo Di Matteo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cesate and the tHe SOnS of rAGnar players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Eraldo Di Matteo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the tHe SOnS of rAGnar defense, Ennio Grasso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marios Kamarinopoulos. The tHe SOnS of rAGnar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marios Kamarinopoulos should have stopped the shot. Fortunato Proia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stavros Kabantais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frank Magliocco kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chrisostomos Bourdas in the 81st minute of play forced Cesate's goalkeeper Fortunato Proia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute Theofilos Zaninos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Proia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, one of tHe SOnS of rAGnar:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for tHe SOnS of rAGnar. The goalkeeper, Marios Kamarinopoulos, was totally fooled by Cesate's Adriano Di Marco, who 93 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Stefanos Xomeritakis hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. After 98 played minutes tHe SOnS of rAGnar got a freekick which was hit by Errikos Papoutsas. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
