Ian Manchè stood somewhat misplaced when Diogenis Priovolos came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 31 minute. Dimitris Skevofilakas was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 34 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Pepe Haedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Floriana Celtics's supporters rose to their feet, but Pepe Haedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilias Peristeropoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ilias Peristeropoulos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gregory Boffa in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the game, Diogenis Priovolos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ΠΑΟΚ FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Floriana Celtics the free kick.
