The tension between the Olympiacos FC and the FC Mims players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes Olympiacos FC got a freekick which was hit by Markos Kareklopoulos. Eustratios Vertsotis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camillo Bocchi in the 5th minute of the match. Eustratios Vertsotis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camillo Bocchi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th match minute, Olympiacos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fanis Liberiou to maneuver through the defense. The corner led FC Mims's Felice Di Biagio to fire away a dangerous shot which Eustratios Vertsotis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitris Koudas in the 14th minute of play forced FC Mims's goalkeeper Amerigo La Penna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Olympiacos FC's Soulis Partalis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amerigo La Penna. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. In the 22nd minute, Dimitris Koudas made a precise shot to the right of Amerigo La Penna. FC Mims's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Thanos Panagiotatos's late challenge caught a FC Mims's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thanos Panagiotatos helped the player get up and apologised. Thanos Panagiotatos kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 25th minute of the match Felice Di Biagio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eustratios Vertsotis skillfully saved the ball. Amerigo La Penna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markos Kareklopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olympiacos FC's Eustratios Vertsotis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damiano Strazzabosco in the 36th minute of play. A collision led to Olympiacos FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Nikiforos Valaoras hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Dimitris Koudas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amerigo La Penna. FC Mims's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dimitris Koudas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

52 minutes into the game, Olympiacos FC's Soulis Partalis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amerigo La Penna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Damiano Strazzabosco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eustratios Vertsotis came out and tried to block the shot, but Damiano Strazzabosco slotted it home off the left post making it 5-1 in the 56th minute. Amerigo La Penna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dimitris Koudas's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Soulis Partalis sped through FC Mims's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Amerigo La Penna. Dimitris Koudas scored 7-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amerigo La Penna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the FC Mims defense, Markos Kareklopoulos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amerigo La Penna. The FC Mims fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amerigo La Penna should have stopped the shot. A collision led to FC Mims getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Camillo Bocchi hit a great ball. Fanis Liberiou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 85 minutes into the game, Olympiacos FC's Soulis Partalis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amerigo La Penna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-1. Olympiacos FC's Alexis Dellios got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to FC Mims getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Alessio Ubriaco hit a great ball. Eustratios Vertsotis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camillo Bocchi in the 92nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Olympiacos FC had won after a very even match.
