Felix Jovanovic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Catena, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the match, FC Aquile Azzurre's Miro Klose sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felix Jovanovic narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 5 minutes into the match, Miro Klose had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felix Jovanovic. Tours Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miro Klose was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a little luck, FC Aquile Azzurre's Angelo Peruzzi got control of the ball when Ibrahim Rault tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ferruccio Basile hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Ibrahim Rault notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC Aquile Azzurre's Angelo Peruzzi. Angelo Peruzzi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 22nd play minute Willy Sauvestre came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Angelo Peruzzi. 2-1. FC Aquile Azzurre's Angelo Peruzzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willy Sauvestre in the 33rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fulvio Benedetti during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tours Football Club's Elias Mouton was substituted for Hugo Toulet. Tours Football Club's Felix Jovanovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miro Klose in the 40th minute of play. Léo Ramsamy's late challenge caught a FC Aquile Azzurre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Léo Ramsamy helped the player get up and apologised. Léo Ramsamy hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, Miro Klose got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carmine Gori during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 54thth minute of the game Willy Sauvestre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Aquile Azzurre's Angelo Peruzzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 57th minute, Adriano Coccia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute Willy Sauvestre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Peruzzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joachim Migne got a throw-in 64 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Daniel Santi. Adriano Coccia hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ibrahim Rault in the 74th minute of play forced FC Aquile Azzurre's goalkeeper Angelo Peruzzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tours Football Club's goalkeeper Felix Jovanovic, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 78th minute FC Aquile Azzurre were awarded a corner. Cosimo Rondinelli went to the cornerflag to take it. FC Aquile Azzurre's Cosimo Rondinelli was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Felix Jovanovic in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Elias Mouton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Peruzzi having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, FC Aquile Azzurre's goal looked a bit too open when Willy Sauvestre came free, but Angelo Peruzzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Jovanovic came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Aquile Azzurre's Miro Klose. But to his dismay, Miro Klose quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Angelo Peruzzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willy Sauvestre, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Willy Sauvestre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Peruzzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Tours Football Club players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
