After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Cosimo Rondinelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Aquile Azzurre's supporters rose to their feet, but Cosimo Rondinelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Urbani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Aquile Azzurre's Cosimo Rondinelli slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Angelo Urbani. That made the score 2-0 after 17 minutes of play. 24 minutes into the match, FC Aquile Azzurre's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Duro came free, but Angelo Peruzzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Alaa Felice took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Angelo Urbani to make any attempt to save it. In the 31st minute Alberigo Alonzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Peruzzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franco Catena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Urbani having to interfere. In the 36th minute Alberigo Alonzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Peruzzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Peruzzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Mattioli, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 41 played minutes Coriano FC got a freekick which was hit by Cesare Placidi. Franco Catena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberigo Alonzi scored 3-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Peruzzi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Alberigo Alonzi made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberigo Alonzi in the 53rd minute of play forced FC Aquile Azzurre's goalkeeper Angelo Peruzzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Peruzzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberigo Alonzi in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of Coriano FC booed when FC Aquile Azzurre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferruccio Basile didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Aquile Azzurre's Angelo Peruzzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save FC Aquile Azzurre from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, FC Aquile Azzurre's Angelo Peruzzi got control of the ball when Arturo Duro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Angelo Peruzzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mortimer Rahamut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute of the match Coriano FC got a corner. FC Aquile Azzurre's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arturo Duro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cesare Placidi kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Mortimer Rahamut reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Angelo Peruzzi. The goal made the score 3-3. FC Aquile Azzurre succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Coriano FC had controlled the match.
