Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Armando Barone started the match with the kick off. S.S.C. NAPOLI's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Lawrence De Marco 5 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Thomas Zrinzo might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carter Di Nino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thomas Zrinzo ran back to his position shaking his head. Carter Di Nino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lawrence De Marco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carter Di Nino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Zrinzo in the 14th minute of the match. Thomas Zrinzo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Carter Di Nino skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 20 minutes into the match, S.S.C. NAPOLI's goalkeeper Carter Di Nino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrea Xuereb. An unexpectedly hard shot by Comunardo Bertoni in the 21st minute of play forced Attard Gunners's goalkeeper Amadeo Rapinett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th match minute, Attard Gunners was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicholas Bondin to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Thomas Zrinzo took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Carter Di Nino to make any attempt to save it. 39 minutes into the match, Lawrence De Marco notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of S.S.C. NAPOLI's Carter Di Nino. Carter Di Nino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 44th minute Lawrence De Marco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carter Di Nino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Attard Gunners's Lawrence De Marco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carter Di Nino. That made the score 4-0 after 45 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Frank Carlucci hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Carter Di Nino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lawrence De Marco went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 57th match minute, S.S.C. NAPOLI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciccio Moscatelli to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute of the match Angelo Incorvaia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carter Di Nino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Andrea Xuereb's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carter Di Nino was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Alfonso Tullio's late challenge caught a Attard Gunners's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfonso Tullio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Attard Gunners booed when S.S.C. NAPOLI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Tullio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Lawrence De Marco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carter Di Nino. S.S.C. NAPOLI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lawrence De Marco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Alfonso Tullio got his second yellow card in the match during the 64th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Alfonso Tullio hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Attard Gunners's Angelo Incorvaia got a free kick in the 66th minute. Comunardo Bertoni kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Thomas Zrinzo scored 7-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carter Di Nino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 72 minutes into the game, Nicholas Bondin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Carter Di Nino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Attilio Riccardi kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. With a little luck, Attard Gunners's Amadeo Rapinett got control of the ball when Attilio Riccardi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th minute, Adriano Giannotti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 81 played minutes, Attard Gunners's Angelo Incorvaia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carter Di Nino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Attard Gunners reached it. 83 minutes into the game, Attard Gunners's Lawrence De Marco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carter Di Nino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Zrinzo in the 89th minute of play forced S.S.C. NAPOLI's goalkeeper Carter Di Nino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 played minutes S.S.C. NAPOLI got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano Monaco. Attard Gunners's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
