Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lawrence De Marco took the kick off in the first half of the match. Franz Torres made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Thomas Zrinzo sent off a good shot on target. Franz Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Incorvaia in the 9th minute of the match. Attard Gunners's Angelo Incorvaia got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Titouan Bock kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Lawrence De Marco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Fabio Vassallo fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Attard Gunners's protests and gave Fabio Vassallo a yellow card for diving instead. After 14 played minutes Attard Gunners got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Vassallo. Jean-Pascal Herrmann took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amadeo Rapinett. Amadeo Rapinett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Fabio Vassallo kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Jean-Pascal Herrmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Rapinett having to interfere. Ange Chatry's late challenge caught a Attard Gunners's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ange Chatry helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Cats and dogs:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Attard Gunners:s goal. Angelo Incorvaia shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 26 minutes into the match, Cats and dogs's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Zrinzo came free, but Franz Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Attard Gunners getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Roberto Borg Olivier hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Jean-Pascal Herrmann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cats and dogs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Amadeo Rapinett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Pascal Herrmann in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Attard Gunners's goal looked a bit too open when Hocine Maret came free, but Amadeo Rapinett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabio Vassallo got a throw-in 40 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Andrea Xuereb. After 41 minutes of play, Attard Gunners's Andrea Xuereb made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franz Torres was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jean-Pascal Herrmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeo Rapinett read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ange Chatry to strike the kick off in the second half. Attard Gunners's Amadeo Rapinett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Attard Gunners from getting a goal against them. Amadeo Rapinett made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Jean-Pascal Herrmann sent off a good shot on target. 57 minutes into the match, Attard Gunners's goalkeeper Amadeo Rapinett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ange Chatry. Hocine Maret could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Amadeo Rapinett made a huge save. Amadeo Rapinett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean-Pascal Herrmann in the 68th minute. When Ange Chatry was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 73 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Cats and dogs's Ange Chatry got a free kick in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrea Xuereb in the 78th minute of play forced Cats and dogs's goalkeeper Franz Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Attard Gunners's goalkeeper Amadeo Rapinett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jean-Pascal Herrmann. After 83 minutes Attard Gunners's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Titouan Bock who took care of the corner kick. Hocine Maret was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 83rd minute, Hocine Maret hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Cats and dogs getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Titouan Bock hit a great ball. Thomas Zrinzo scored 4-2 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Franz Torres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Attard Gunners's Clyde Schembri Zerafa was substituted for Andrea Xuereb. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Attard Gunners had played much better football throughout.
