In the 2ndth minute of the game Apostolos Fotiadis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico Benevento's Alfonso Donato was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Armando Pacella kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Lakis Mexis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Alfonso Donato made a huge save. Alfonso Donato made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Lakis Mexis sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Maties in the 12th minute of play forced Punk Fathers's goalkeeper Panos Kouventolakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfonso Donato stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Apostolos Fotiadis's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. After 19 played minutes Atletico Benevento got a freekick which was hit by Elder Vargas. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Punk Fathers's goalkeeper Panos Kouventolakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Armando Pacella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panos Kouventolakis having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Armando Pacella made a precise shot to the right of Panos Kouventolakis. Punk Fathers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leopoldo Maties in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Panos Kouventolakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Punk Fathers's goalkeeper Panos Kouventolakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Atletico Benevento's goalkeeper Alfonso Donato had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lakis Mexis. Atletico Benevento's Leopoldo Maties got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st match minute, Atletico Benevento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Maties to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Pacella in the 43rd minute of play forced Punk Fathers's goalkeeper Panos Kouventolakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leopoldo Maties struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Panos Kouventolakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Benevento. After the first half Atletico Benevento were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Cesare Trotta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leopoldo Matiess short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Panos Kouventolakis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 64 minutes into the match, Atletico Benevento's goal looked a bit too open when Lakis Mexis came free, but Alfonso Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panos Kouventolakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armando Pacella's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Panos Kouventolakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Pacella in the 68th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Armando Pacella's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Panos Kouventolakis was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Punk Fathers's Ntinos Vlontakis got a free kick in the 79th minute. Atletico Benevento made a substitution. Ruy Nóbrega replaced Bernardo Bobbio. 81 minutes into the match, Punk Fathers's goalkeeper Panos Kouventolakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leopoldo Maties. The audience was convinced that Armando Pacella's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Panos Kouventolakis was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 85th minute Dimitris Papazacharias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panos Kouventolakis made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Leopoldo Maties sent off a good shot on target. 88 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Maties recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Panos Kouventolakis. Leopoldo Maties showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. In the 90th match minute, Punk Fathers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apostolos Fotiadis to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Pacella in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Panos Kouventolakis saved Punk Fathers from getting behind. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Atletico Benevento had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
