In the 18th match minute, Les Pionniers de Touraine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Pascal Berthelot to maneuver through the defense. Jean-Michel Caspar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 33 minutes, Ibrahim Chapalain mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Les Pionniers de Touraine and the En avant de guingamp players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ibrahim Chapalain kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 37 minutes of play, Les Pionniers de Touraine's Rodrigue Davoust made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jean-Michel Caspar was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th minute, Jean-Michel Guillonneau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pierre-Henri Oudard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Régis Bastian made a huge save. Christian Castex took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jean-Michel Caspar. Jean-Michel Caspar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jean-Charles Desmoulins made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Rodrigue Davoust reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jean-Michel Caspar. The goal made the score 0-4. Les Pionniers de Touraine's Régis Bastian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Charles Desmoulins in the 60th minute of play. Jean-Michel Caspar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Castex, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Castex fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Michel Caspar having to interfere. After a rather tough play, En avant de guingamp's Cesar Jerrold got a free kick in the 73rd minute. A hard shot 79 in the game by Ibrahim Chapalain from a close distance when the talented Jean-Michel Caspar managed to make a qualified save. En avant de guingamp's players were relieved. Florent Fernandes's late challenge caught a Les Pionniers de Touraine's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florent Fernandes helped the player get up and apologised. Les Pionniers de Touraine made a substitution. Mourad Bloquet replaced Jean-Michel Guillonneau. Jean-Michel Caspar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean-Pascal Berthelot in the 86th minute. After a rather tough play, En avant de guingamp's Florentin Lebastard got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Jean-Pascal Berthelot received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jean-Michel Caspar came out and tried to block the shot, but Jean-Pascal Berthelot slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 94th minute. The En avant de guingamp supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Les Pionniers de Touraine's performance. The match ended with a win for Les Pionniers de Touraine.
