Eugenios Klidis came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Eurospeed Asti's Svetlozar Cholakov. But to his dismay, Svetlozar Cholakov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Emiliano Firmani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Eugenios Klidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugenios Klidis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Svetlozar Cholakov showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 18 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emiliano Firmani in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugenios Klidis saved Punk Fathers from getting behind. When Emiliano Firmani, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 23 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Eugenios Klidis was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Svetlozar Cholakov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Eugenios Klidis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emiliano Firmani went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 30 minutes into the match, Eurospeed Asti's Emiliano Firmani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eugenios Klidis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dimitris Papazacharias hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Svetlozar Cholakov got free with Eugenios Klidis in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Eurospeed Asti's Alberto Santo got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute, Kostas Ksiros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Punk Fathers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After a rather tough play, Punk Fathers's Dimitris Papazacharias got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 43rd minute of the match, Emiliano Firmani tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eugenios Klidis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Emiliano Firmani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eurospeed Asti's supporters rose to their feet, but Emiliano Firmani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Apostolos Fotiadis to make the kick off.
