In the 5th match minute, AFC Ajax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kleon Charalambidis to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Rodrigue Davoust kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Menios Moschogiannis. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. In the 11th minute, Brendan Teste hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Menios Moschogiannis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodrigue Davoust went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 21st match minute, AFC Ajax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavlos Samaris to maneuver through the defense. Menios Moschogiannis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigue Davoust, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Les Pionniers de Touraine's Régis Bastian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nontas Livaditis in the 25th minute of play. After 26 minutes Les Pionniers de Touraine's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Michalis Bakakos who took care of the corner kick. Les Pionniers de Touraine's Régis Bastian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michalis Bakakos in the 27th minute of play. In the 29thth minute of the game Christian Castex who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC Ajax's Menios Moschogiannis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Menios Moschogiannis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigue Davoust in the 33rd minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, AFC Ajax's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Pascal Berthelot came free, but Menios Moschogiannis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christian Castex was the one to do the kick off. Akis Pinezas charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Akis Pinezas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Akis Pinezas hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Nontas Livaditis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Régis Bastian having to interfere. Nontas Livaditis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Régis Bastian when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Les Pionniers de Touraine's Régis Bastian got control of the ball when Nontas Livaditis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Michalis Bakakos kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Les Pionniers de Touraine's goalkeeper Régis Bastian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Filippos Markos fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFC Ajax's protests and gave Filippos Markos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to AFC Ajax getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Filippos Markos hit a great ball. Les Pionniers de Touraine's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
