The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alberto Bracco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Friggieri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuel Demicoli guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After a rather tough play, Templars FC's Colin Cassola got a free kick in the 12th minute. A collision led to Old BaoBaB Accademy getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. With a little luck, Templars FC's Samuel Demicoli got control of the ball when Camillo Petrocchi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Templars FC booed when Old BaoBaB Accademy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Alati didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th match minute, Old BaoBaB Accademy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrizio Salemme to maneuver through the defense. When Liam Rolè came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Templars FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Liam Rolè couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Old BaoBaB Accademy's Alfredo Moretta got a free kick in the 44th minute. A collision led to Old BaoBaB Accademy getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Alfredo Moretta hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Camillo Petrocchi made a kick off. Liam Rolè fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Bracco having to interfere. Old BaoBaB Accademy's Alberto Bracco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liam Rolè in the 59th minute of play. When Fabrizio Salemme came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Old BaoBaB Accademy fans jumped to their feet. Fabrizio Salemme struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Samuel Demicoli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Old BaoBaB Accademy. Noel Trapani kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Camillo Petrocchi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Old BaoBaB Accademy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Templars FC the free kick. Amos Loreto hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, Fabrizio Salemme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Demicoli was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 93rd match minute, Old BaoBaB Accademy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Moretta to maneuver through the defense. Mark Montebello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
