Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The audience was convinced that Maurice Chalaye's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel Demicoli was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Maurice Chalaye's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samuel Demicoli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Royal PSG's Maurice Chalaye nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Samuel Demicoli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Templars FC's Mark Borg Xuereb slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Antoine Bonnard. That made the score 1-1 after 20 minutes of play. Royal PSG were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Templars FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jean-Yves Fresnais took the corner. After taking down the ball on Royal PSG's corner Jean-Yves Fresnais fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Samuel Demicoli quite easily take care of the ball. Adam Aquilina made in the 35th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Mark Borg Xuereb immediately put the ball in play. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Templars FC's goalkeeper Samuel Demicoli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Tom Galpin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Royal PSG's supporters rose to their feet, but Tom Galpin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Demicoli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute, Ben Roi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oliver Friggieri to make the kick off. Brendan Queinnec blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuel Demicoli having to make a save. Maurice Chalaye took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel Demicoli. Samuel Demicoli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Templars FC's zone, Maurice Chalaye stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Demicoli came out of the goal and Maurice Chalaye tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samuel Demicoli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurice Chalaye, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 75th minute, Hugues Amar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Keith DeGaetano came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Templars FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Keith DeGaetano couldn't finish the play. Templars FC's Oliver Friggieri got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Blaise Desmaris hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the game, Tom Galpin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Royal PSG's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Templars FC the free kick. The supporters of Templars FC booed when Royal PSG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tom Galpin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 87 minutes, Keith DeGaetano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Templars FC and the Royal PSG players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 87 played minutes Templars FC got a freekick which was hit by Keith DeGaetano. Mark Borg Xuereb took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antoine Bonnard. Antoine Bonnard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2.
