The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, PERSPOLIS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after CJ Ibrahimović fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Virgilio Marcilla made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when CJ Ibrahimović sent off a good shot on target. 15 minutes into the game, CJ Ibrahimović recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Virgilio Marcilla. CJ Ibrahimović showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Galindo Ruiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Racing Rocafort C.F.'s CJ Ibrahimović dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Curcio Amer in the 25th minute of play forced Racing Rocafort C.F.'s goalkeeper Cancelo Gol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, PERSPOLIS's goalkeeper Virgilio Marcilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by CJ Ibrahimović. If CJ Ibrahimović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Racing Rocafort C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Valdo Salas came free, but Cancelo Gol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CJ Ibrahimović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Racing Rocafort C.F.'s CJ Ibrahimović ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Virgilio Marcilla. Virgilio Marcilla yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Curcio Amer made a kick off. Galindo Ruiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florian Azofra hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. CJ Ibrahimović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Galindo Ruiz came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Racing Rocafort C.F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Galindo Ruiz couldn't finish the play. Claus Tormes hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Florian Azofra kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. CJ Ibrahimović might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Virgilio Marcilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. CJ Ibrahimović ran back to his position shaking his head. Arash Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CJ Ibrahimović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If CJ Ibrahimović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 82 minutes into the game, Valdo Salas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Cancelo Gol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Valdo Salas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Cancelo Gol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CJ Ibrahimović struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Virgilio Marcilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Rocafort C.F.. Virgilio Marcilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from CJ Ibrahimović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
