If Oro Cameno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute Oro Cameno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamilton Poças saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. booed when Racing Rocafort C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamilton Poças showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oro Cameno, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 46th minute of the game Leal Leitão made a throw-in which Gastão Cesário played forward. Gastão Cesário kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Silvano Morais made the kick off in the second half. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Hamilton Poças proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. from getting a goal against them. Racing Rocafort C.F.'s Cancelo Gol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Morais in the 58th minute of play. Hamilton Poças was a little too slow when Oro Cameno got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-2. 0-3 became the score in the 76th minute when Oro Cameno elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Silvano Morais hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Hamilton Poças made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Oro Cameno sent off a good shot on target. Oro Cameno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. booed when Racing Rocafort C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kajetan Hodyl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Oro Cameno could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Hamilton Poças however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Hamilton Poças got control of the ball when Oro Cameno tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 95 played minutes Racing Rocafort C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Charro Companys. The Racing Rocafort C.F. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Racing Rocafort C.F. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
