Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jimeno Naranjo started the match with the kick off. Virgilio Marcilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jimeno Naranjo's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. If Tulio Saura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jimeno Naranjo struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Virgilio Marcilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mandrake fc. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jimeno Naranjo in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Virgilio Marcilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Florian Azofra hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Jimeno Naranjo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Virgilio Marcilla made a huge save. After 17 played minutes PERSPOLIS got a freekick which was hit by Víctor Olmos. After 19 played minutes Mandrake fc got a freekick which was hit by Duardo Reyes. In the 23rd match minute, PERSPOLIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlitos Belalcaraz to maneuver through the defense. Jimeno Naranjo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Virgilio Marcilla made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdo Salas in the 26th minute of play forced Mandrake fc's goalkeeper Elar Quero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Virgilio Marcilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tulio Saura in the 30th minute of play. Valdo Salas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elar Quero having to interfere. When Carlitos Belalcaraz fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PERSPOLIS's protests and gave Carlitos Belalcaraz a yellow card for diving instead. Carlitos Belalcaraz kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the last second Virgilio Marcilla throw himself and got hold of the ball when Jimeno Naranjo in the 42ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. If Jimeno Naranjo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xuaco Otero's late challenge caught a Mandrake fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xuaco Otero helped the player get up and apologised. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdo Salas was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match, Valdo Salas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Elar Quero saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 55th match minute, PERSPOLIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Víctor Olmos to maneuver through the defense. PERSPOLIS's Virgilio Marcilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Naranjo in the 58th minute of play. When Mandrake fc's Jimeno Naranjo in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PERSPOLIS's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jimeno Naranjo in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgilio Marcilla saved PERSPOLIS from getting behind. Mandrake fc's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Valdo Salas scored to the left of an out of position Elar Quero, making the score, 0-1. After 70 played minutes Mandrake fc got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Tarin. 72 minutes into the match, Mandrake fc's goal looked a bit too open when Jaizki Lacorte came free, but Elar Quero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elar Quero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdo Salas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geofredo Jurado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amancio Tarin kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Mandrake fc's Elar Quero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdo Salas in the 80th minute of play. In the 85thth minute of the game Jimeno Naranjo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PERSPOLIS's Virgilio Marcilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 88 minutes into the match, PERSPOLIS's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Naranjo came free, but Virgilio Marcilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PERSPOLIS's Virgilio Marcilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Naranjo in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Naranjo in the 92nd minute of play forced PERSPOLIS's goalkeeper Virgilio Marcilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
