With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bo Kristiansson in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Germano Carmona saved Stars Academy from getting behind. After 11 played minutes Plaza Babys CF got a freekick which was hit by Xove Pujol. After a defensive mix-up in Plaza Babys CF's zone, Nivaldo Bulhosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Moya came out of the goal and Nivaldo Bulhosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stars Academy's Germano Carmona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Kristiansson in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Bo Kristiansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Plaza Babys CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Manuel Moya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Américo Albuquerque in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Abalos in the 24th minute of play forced Stars Academy's goalkeeper Germano Carmona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Plaza Babys CF's Zunbeltz Zafrilla got a free kick in the 25th minute. Xove Pujol was shown his second yellow card after 31 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a defensive mix-up in Stars Academy's zone, Bo Kristiansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Germano Carmona came out of the goal and Bo Kristiansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Germano Carmona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Kristiansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Jeremias Izaguirre made a precise shot to the right of Germano Carmona. Stars Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Bo Kristiansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Izaguirre in the 47th minute of play forced Stars Academy's goalkeeper Germano Carmona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bo Kristiansson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Jairo Carrasqueira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stars Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 61 minutes into the match, Bo Kristiansson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Germano Carmona, 1-3. Jairo Carrasqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Moya having to interfere. Jeremias Izaguirre might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Germano Carmona. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jeremias Izaguirre ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Bo Kristiansson took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Germano Carmona to make any attempt to save it. In the 79th minute, Damaso Abalos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeremias Izaguirre scored 1-5 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Germano Carmona, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfons Castelao during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Plaza Babys CF's Alfons Castelao got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute Damaso Abalos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germano Carmona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Jeremias Izaguirre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 96 played minutes Plaza Babys CF got a freekick which was hit by Zunbeltz Zafrilla. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Plaza Babys CF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
