The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zoel Abancens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. David Mangas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tabor Ibanez hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Patxi Olmos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dorio Herrera's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. After 11 minutes, Enol Cabrera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pampas Team and the Riemannian players grew even worse after the yellow card. Enol Cabrera kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Zoel Abancens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but David Mangas made a huge save. 22 minutes into the match, Riemannian's goalkeeper David Mangas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zoel Abancens. Veremundo Leyva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Mangas having to interfere. David Mangas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Veremundo Leyva in the 28th minute. With 29 minutes on the clock, Neto Vazquez commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Riemannian! Riemannian's David Mangas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Riemannian from getting a goal against them. David Mangas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoel Abancens in the 42nd minute of play. Patxi Olmos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Louis Gonzalvez, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Veremundo Leyva to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Renato Diaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Riemannian's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pampas Team the free kick. A collision led to Riemannian getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Renato Diaz hit a great ball. Riemannian's David Mangas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Veremundo Leyva in the 56th minute of play. Louis Gonzalvez in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Patxi Olmos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Pampas Team's zone, Renato Diaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patxi Olmos came out of the goal and Renato Diaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Louis Gonzalvez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd match minute, Pampas Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heli Duarte to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the game, Louis Gonzalvez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Patxi Olmos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Louis Gonzalvez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Pampas Team supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Riemannian's performance. The match ended with a win for Riemannian.
