After 14 played minutes La Mora CAT got a freekick which was hit by David Cuadrado. Anatolio Morera was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Romualdo Echavarri. Anatolio Morera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Josep Odín in the 16th minute. When Paata Zabelin came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the La Mora CAT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paata Zabelin couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xanti Jareño in the 24th minute of play forced La Mora CAT's goalkeeper Anatolio Morera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Yeste's late challenge caught a La Mora CAT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Yeste helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Downchester City's Pepito Sacristán got a free kick in the 30th minute. Xepe Gandia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tato Feria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Carlo Domingo fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Downchester City's protests and gave Carlo Domingo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Downchester City's Carlo Domingo got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, La Mora CAT's Pau Gasol broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Xepe Gandia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cordeiro Castro in the 37th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boruc Petka during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd match minute, La Mora CAT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boruc Petka to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paata Zabelin to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes La Mora CAT got a freekick which was hit by Tato Feria. Xepe Gandia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferrer Alcaraz in the 56th minute. If Xanti Jareño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, La Mora CAT's Djoto Londaridze ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Xepe Gandia. Xepe Gandia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Xepe Gandia made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Tato Feria sent off a good shot on target. Ferrer Alcaraz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Xepe Gandia made a huge save. After a rather tough play, La Mora CAT's Pau Gasol got a free kick in the 76th minute. After having played for 79 minutes, Xanti Jareño managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Downchester City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xanti Jareño was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Downchester City's goal looked a bit too open when Djoto Londaridze came free, but Xepe Gandia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Downchester City's Xepe Gandia got control of the ball when Djoto Londaridze tried to sneak it across the goal line. Djoto Londaridze did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Xepe Gandia 85 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cordeiro Castro in the 88th minute of play forced Downchester City's goalkeeper Xepe Gandia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Josep Odín in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anatolio Morera saved La Mora CAT from getting behind. In the 92nd match minute, La Mora CAT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Cuadrado to maneuver through the defense. La Mora CAT's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
