Loures's supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto Caneira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Ballesteros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the match, Aguas Nuevas CD's goalkeeper José Ballesteros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidro Diegues. The supporters of Loures booed when Aguas Nuevas CD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peio Prats didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Hermes Amaro made a precise shot to the right of José Ballesteros. Aguas Nuevas CD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The Aguas Nuevas CD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Ballesteros should have stopped the shot. After having played for 41 minutes, Artur Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Loures's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artur Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. José Ballesteros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Diegues in the 43rd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Artur Azevedo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of José Ballesteros, 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aquilino Contratas to strike the kick off in the second half. Chano Jaen hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Lucílio Soeiro in the 72nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Aguas Nuevas CD's Aquilino Contratas. Isauro Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the game, Isidro Diegues cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. José Ballesteros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. José Ballesteros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Isidro Diegues sped through Aguas Nuevas CD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of José Ballesteros. José Ballesteros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Diegues in the 96th minute of play.
