The crowd rose to their feet as Belmiro Martínez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Porfiro Zapater. That made the score 2-0 in the 35 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Porfiro Zapater took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Montaña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 63 minutes of play, C.A. Husky's Franco Vázquez made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felip Etxeberria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind U.D. Mancini's goalkeeper Porfiro Zapater, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
