Brais Perpiñán started the match with the kick off. Mariano Japón took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almiro Cesário, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Japón made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abílio Ferreira in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iban Vallejo in the 13th minute of play forced São Francisco FC86's goalkeeper Cassiano Vidigal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brais Perpiñán's late challenge caught a São Francisco FC86's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brais Perpiñán helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th minute, Abílio Ferreira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mariano Japón was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Mariano Japón was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abílio Ferreira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 28 minute of play. Mariano Japón stood somewhat misplaced when Furo Rede came free in front of goal and shot 5-0 to the left of him in the 30 minute. The crowd rose to their feet as São Francisco FC86's Almiro Cesário slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mariano Japón. That made the score 6-0 after 35 minutes of play. Mariano Japón showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Furo Rede, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Nesto Gómez hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Furo Rede sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Valente's late challenge caught a Monistrolet CD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manuel Valente helped the player get up and apologised. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Furo Rede to strike the kick off in the second half. Monistrolet CD's Mariano Japón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abílio Ferreira in the 51st minute of play. São Francisco FC86's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monistrolet CD the free kick. After some careless play in the Monistrolet CD defense, Furo Rede kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mariano Japón. The Monistrolet CD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mariano Japón should have stopped the shot. A collision led to São Francisco FC86 getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Fábio Moutinho hit a great ball. Furo Rede took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mariano Japón. Mariano Japón dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. Mariano Japón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Furo Rede in the 87th minute of the match. Mariano Japón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Furo Rede in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Furo Rede in the 89th minute of play forced Monistrolet CD's goalkeeper Mariano Japón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Japón came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by São Francisco FC86's Furo Rede. But to his dismay, Furo Rede quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0.
