In the 4th minute Nuno Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toni Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute, Oriol Azofra made a precise shot to the right of Mateus Peralta. Bacardi Black Bats's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 10th minute, Nuno Cunha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Toni Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Mateus Peralta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Gimenez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filipe Sacramento struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Toni Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bacardi Black Bats. After 22 minutes of play, Bacardi Black Bats's Filipe Sacramento made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Toni Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mateus Peralta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Gimenez, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Bacardi Black Bats's Mateus Peralta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belisario Llorente in the 27th minute of play. Girona FC's Toni Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Cunha in the 34th minute of play. In the 34th match minute, Girona FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Cabrera to maneuver through the defense. Filipe Sacramento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Bacardi Black Bats getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Nuno Cunha hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Reginaldo Menezes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mateus Peralta was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Oriol Azofra showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 41 minute of play. Bacardi Black Bats's Mateus Peralta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Gimenez in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Bacardi Black Bats were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filipe Sacramento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Toni Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice moves Filipe Sacramento could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Toni Vera however easily saved by the left post. In the 95th match minute, Bacardi Black Bats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Cunha to maneuver through the defense.
