In the 19th match minute, AD Pontassolense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervásio Anjos to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xano Odín in the 20th minute of play forced AD Pontassolense's goalkeeper Afonso Castanheira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Gervásio Anjos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AD Pontassolense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Armal F.C. the free kick. After some careless play in the AD Pontassolense defense, Xano Odín kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Afonso Castanheira. The AD Pontassolense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Afonso Castanheira should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Gervásio Anjos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Siro Casillas. That made the score 2-1 in the 29 minute of play. Renato Alves hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The supporters of AD Pontassolense booed when Real Armal F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xano Odín didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renato Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Siro Casillas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Real Armal F.C.'s Siro Casillas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Portela in the 70th minute of play. Siro Casillas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Ronaldo Barbosa hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match.
