The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Nacho Marrero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Odon Cardeñosa. Bada Bing Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nacho Marrero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. VALPICA C.F.'s Pelayo Montero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felip Cuervas in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Unai Antunez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pelayo Montero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Unai Antunez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th match minute, VALPICA C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Goren Barba to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Bada Bing Club's Ciro Soprano broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind VALPICA C.F.'s goalkeeper Pelayo Montero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pelayo Montero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felip Cuervas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felip Cuervas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, VALPICA C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Unai Antunez came free, but Pelayo Montero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Odon Cardeñosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tavio Rienda in the 28th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Tavio Rienda took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Odon Cardeñosa to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, VALPICA C.F.'s Goren Barba got a free kick in the 31st minute. A collision led to Bada Bing Club getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Unai Antunez hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, VALPICA C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Raúl Flores came free, but Pelayo Montero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in VALPICA C.F.'s zone, Raúl Flores stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pelayo Montero came out of the goal and Raúl Flores tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nacho Marrero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pelayo Montero was a little too slow when Unai Antunez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 2-2. Felip Cuervas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute Nacho Marrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odon Cardeñosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Goren Barba hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. The supporters of VALPICA C.F. booed when Bada Bing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felip Cuervas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bada Bing Club's Raúl Flores got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hugo Soprano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pelayo Montero came out and tried to block the shot, but Hugo Soprano slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 81st minute. When the match was over Bada Bing Club could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than VALPICA C.F. throughout the match.
