After a rather tough play, Aysouraguán's Benvido Santalla got a free kick in the 6th minute. If Iban Abancens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Peter Alacuart fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aysouraguán's protests and gave Peter Alacuart a yellow card for diving instead. 13 minutes into the match, Atlético Micaelense's Vicente Sanches broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Iban Abancens's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcelo Amaro firmly grabbed it by the left post. Baldemer Sevilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torcato Paião in the 21st minute of the match. Benvido Santalla hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute Seve Higuera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Amaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Amaro made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Seve Higuera sent off a good shot on target. After 30 minutes of play, Atlético Micaelense's Torcato Paião made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baldemer Sevilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! Atlético Micaelense's Marcelo Amaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Micaelense from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Atlético Micaelense defense, Seve Higuera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Amaro. The Atlético Micaelense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Amaro should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Seve Higuera made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Seve Higuera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aysouraguán's supporters rose to their feet, but Seve Higuera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Amaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. André Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Marcelo Amaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benvido Santalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Aysouraguán's Seve Higuera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelo Amaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 75 minutes into the game, Seve Higuera cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Marcelo Amaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Atlético Micaelense's Marcelo Amaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seve Higuera in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seve Higuera in the 80th minute of play forced Atlético Micaelense's goalkeeper Marcelo Amaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Atlético Micaelense defense, José Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Amaro. The Atlético Micaelense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Amaro should have stopped the shot.
