Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Humberto Castro took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute Óscar Sabrosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Vilaverde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, VB-Team's Nélson Trindade got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 7th minute, Nélson Trindade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 9 played minutes VB-Team got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Ventura. Red Proud FC's Juvenal Assis got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Osvaldo Vilaverde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Óscar Sabrosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Humberto Castro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Júlio Pais was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. 15 minutes into the game, Jaime Espinosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VB-Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Red Proud FC the free kick. Jaime Espinosa kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. If Juvenal Assis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flávio Vasconcelos during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 20 played minutes Red Proud FC got a freekick which was hit by Flávio Vasconcelos. 21 minutes into the match, Humberto Castro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Júlio Pais, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Falcão in the 24th minute of play forced VB-Team's goalkeeper Osvaldo Vilaverde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Lázaro Falcão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osvaldo Vilaverde. VB-Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lázaro Falcão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Osvaldo Vilaverde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flávio Vasconcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aprígio Eanes was extremely unlucky when he, in the 37th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 41st minute, Aprígio Eanes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 45 minutes of play, Red Proud FC's Óscar Sabrosa made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Osvaldo Vilaverde was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Óscar Sabrosa to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Humberto Castro in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Júlio Pais saved Red Proud FC from getting behind. The supporters of VB-Team booed when Red Proud FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flávio Vasconcelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When VB-Team's Humberto Castro in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Red Proud FC's goalie prevented a goal. Tiago Menezes's late challenge caught a Red Proud FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiago Menezes helped the player get up and apologised. Júlio Pais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Menezes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of VB-Team booed when Red Proud FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juvenal Assis didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Aprígio Eanes came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the VB-Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aprígio Eanes couldn't finish the play. Ivan Cortez's late challenge caught a VB-Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Cortez helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Red Proud FC! In the 66th minute there was a penalty for VB-Team. Humberto Castro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Júlio Pais. 2-2. After a rather tough play, Red Proud FC's Ivan Cortez got a free kick in the 70th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Red Proud FC's zone, Humberto Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Júlio Pais came out of the goal and Humberto Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Red Proud FC's Júlio Pais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Castro in the 78th minute of play. Humberto Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Pais having to interfere. Osvaldo Vilaverde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lázaro Falcão in the 87th minute. Júlio Pais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
