The score was now 1-0. A collision led to Ciruel Academy getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Zuberbuhler Gordo hit a great ball. Chu Tasso might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Themistoklis Saveris. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chu Tasso ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, Tasso FC's Themistoklis Saveris threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Chu Tasso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Monte Lobato didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Coronel Durango went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Tasso FC's Juca Tasso managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mircea Balint in the 25 minute of the game. Tasso FC's Monte Lobato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Coronel Durango in the 29th minute of play. Chu Tasso took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Themistoklis Saveris. Themistoklis Saveris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 35th minute, José Luis Torrente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Ciruel Academy booed when Tasso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Machado Assis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Themistoklis Saveris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chu Tasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Monte Lobato stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Crispin Klander's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Ciruel Academy's Themistoklis Saveris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Ciruel Academy from getting a goal against them. After 45 minutes Ciruel Academy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anton Ekblom who took care of the corner kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chu Tasso made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Coronel Durango recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Monte Lobato. Coronel Durango showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Diego Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The long shot by Mircea Balint in the 58th minute really tested Monte Lobato's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Chu Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Themistoklis Saveris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chu Tasso in the 62nd minute of play. Themistoklis Saveris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chu Tasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Ulryk Brzeszczak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 71st minute Coronel Durango shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Monte Lobato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Coronel Durango could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Monte Lobato made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mircea Balint during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mircea Balint kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Tasso FC's Richard Dawkins was substituted for Chu Tasso. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
