Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nicolau Soeiro kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolau Soeiro in the 4th minute of play forced Tasso FC's goalkeeper Monte Lobato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Salvador Resende got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Monte Lobato quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hilário Borba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chu Tasso in the 10th minute of the match. Hilário Borba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chu Tasso in the 12th minute of play. Hilário Borba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chu Tasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Gremio Viana's goal looked a bit too open when Chu Tasso came free, but Hilário Borba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chu Tasso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute Chu Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilário Borba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gremio Viana's Hilário Borba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chu Tasso in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Gremio Viana's Porfirio Bomba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Monte Lobato narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gervásio Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Hilário Borba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chu Tasso in the 25th minute of the match. Anton Ekblom hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Nicolau Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Monte Lobato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chu Tasso got free with Hilário Borba in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 33 played minutes Gremio Viana got a freekick which was hit by Normando Barcelos. 37 minutes into the match, Tasso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolau Soeiro came free, but Monte Lobato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chu Tasso struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Hilário Borba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tasso FC. A collision led to Tasso FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Severiano Torcato hit a great ball. In the 45th match minute, Gremio Viana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Valido to maneuver through the defense. Chu Tasso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Hilário Borba when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

The wind increased when Chu Tasso made the kick off in the second half. Chu Tasso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Gremio Viana's zone, Juca Tasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hilário Borba came out of the goal and Juca Tasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gremio Viana's attentive Gervásio Simões managed to snatch the ball when Sebastián Coates made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. When Chu Tasso came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Tasso FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chu Tasso couldn't finish the play. Gremio Viana's Hilário Borba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chu Tasso in the 61st minute of play. Gervásio Simões made in the 63rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Tasso FC's Isaio Cobarrubias. 65 minutes into the match, Gremio Viana's goal looked a bit too open when Chu Tasso came free, but Hilário Borba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Machado Assis made a great header on Tasso FC's corner, it was just that Gremio Viana's Hilário Borba managed to reach the ball for a save. Gremio Viana's Hilário Borba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chu Tasso in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute of the match Tasso FC got a corner. Gremio Viana's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Machado Assis ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Machado Assis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gremio Viana's Hilário Borba did a great save. In the 72nd minute, Chu Tasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74thth minute of the game Chu Tasso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gremio Viana's Hilário Borba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chu Tasso in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hilário Borba saved Gremio Viana from getting behind. Tasso FC made a substitution. Brazilio Tasso replaced Santos Benet. Tasso FC's David Gilmour was substituted for Pinto Valer. Tasso FC's Richard Dawkins was substituted for Chu Tasso. Tasso FC's Diego Antunes quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gervásio Simões, made in the 81st minute of the game. When Tasso FC's Richard Dawkins in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gremio Viana's goalie prevented a goal. After 84 minutes, Diego Antunes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tasso FC and the Gremio Viana players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tasso FC's Diego Antunes got a free kick in the 84th minute. Richard Dawkins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hilário Borba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. In the 94th minute, Isaio Cobarrubias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Tasso FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
