Lancelot Sauca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quim Barreiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Román Armada kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Los once leones Ourense players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
