Ritchie Roig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edinho Moraes in the 23rd minute of the match. Palmiro Picasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ritchie Roig having to interfere. Midas Arribas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Clube Esportivo Saudade defense, Edinho Moraes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ritchie Roig. The Clube Esportivo Saudade fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ritchie Roig should have stopped the shot. Clube Esportivo Saudade's Ritchie Roig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edinho Moraes in the 37th minute of play. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Midas Arribas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ritchie Roig didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 52nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Christoph Haßelmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clube Esportivo Saudade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Midas Arribas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pau Nas Canelas's goalkeeper Bai Chao Zheng, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Pau Nas Canelas booed when Clube Esportivo Saudade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garci Acosta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 88 minutes of play Pau Nas Canelas's Oséas Moraes was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Oséas Moraes hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Clube Esportivo Saudade's Ritchie Roig proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Clube Esportivo Saudade from getting a goal against them. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pau Nas Canelas walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
