The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hondo Roman in the 2nd minute of play forced Arrebimba o Malho SLB's goalkeeper Lúcio Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Club Getafe Deportivo booed when Arrebimba o Malho SLB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heitor Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hondo Roman got free with Lúcio Lopes in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 8 minutes into the game, Peru Cartagena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Getafe Deportivo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arrebimba o Malho SLB the free kick. After a rather tough play, Club Getafe Deportivo's Peru Cartagena got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute, Toine Carioca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lúcio Lopes was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Mahoma Abrego capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mahoma Abrego really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hondo Roman in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lúcio Lopes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Club Getafe Deportivo fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Club Getafe Deportivo's Hondo Roman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Club Getafe Deportivo's Hondo Roman in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But to his dismay, Quim Barreiros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Renato Rivera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quim Barreiros in the 36th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Sabino Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quim Barreiros in the 45th minute of play forced Club Getafe Deportivo's goalkeeper Renato Rivera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hondo Roman in the 50th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lúcio Lopes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lúcio Lopes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hondo Roman's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Club Getafe Deportivo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rodas Pujol in the 54th minute. Club Getafe Deportivo's Rodas Pujol was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lúcio Lopes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hondo Roman in the 57th minute of play forced Arrebimba o Malho SLB's goalkeeper Lúcio Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belarmino Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Ivo Coutinho's late challenge caught a Club Getafe Deportivo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivo Coutinho helped the player get up and apologised. Januário Martins hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the game, Licerio Cano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Getafe Deportivo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arrebimba o Malho SLB the free kick. A collision led to Club Getafe Deportivo getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Licerio Cano hit a great ball. After 92 minutes of play, Club Getafe Deportivo's Hondo Roman made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lúcio Lopes was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club Getafe Deportivo had won after a very even match.
