Pedro Mantorras struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. José Henriques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Terceirense F.C.. After 18 played minutes Terceirense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by António Fontes. 27 minutes into the match, Terceirense F.C.'s Pedro Mantorras sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Henriques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Terceirense F.C. getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Amável Rangel hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domingos Lobo during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Domingos Lobo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51st match minute, Terceirense F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Lousada to maneuver through the defense. Robert Enke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Tobias Taveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Neves in the 64th minute of play forced Terceirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Robert Enke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregório Moutinho hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Terceirense F.C.'s Angelo Guerreiro was substituted for Mário Rijo. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Terceirense F.C. were victorious despite being under pressure from Suprs Academia for much of the match.
